Lead PartnerPeter Shobiye is well known to the foreign investors’ community, as a creative problem solver and futurist. He has over 20 years of practical experience, with in-depth knowledge of domestic and international laws, by his attainment of several educational qualifications in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
As the Lead Partner of the Firm, Peter brings out the best in his team members with a clear focus on how to creatively solve both business and commercial needs of the Firm’s Clients and associated interest.
Peter has continued to set recognisable impact on matters bothering on commercial law, complex contractual matters, he is an expert in intellectual property rights’ protection and enforcement. Peter advises and provides legal guidance on foreign direct investments, business planning, real estate, construction and infrastructure, project financing, corporate or project recapitalisation and restructuring. Peter has represented many global companies in various transborder commercial transactions, due diligence, project negotiations, and he stands out as an Advocate of repute in various Courts of Law in Nigeria by deploying his expertise in the representation of well-known international and domestic brands.
Peter holds a Master’s Degree (LLM) in Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, he is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and a licenced Barrister and Solicitor. Peter has graced various local and international platforms as a discussant and consultant, on business, commercial and transborder matters.
